Counties in the Bay Area that are on lock down?

Just heard from a sister in church about 4 counties locking down in the Bay Area? Are we ready? Are we prepared for a one month lock down? What are our expectations? What can we do to our fellow Christian brothers or sisters who are in need? This the time to rise to the occasion!

Thank you for the post!

Now that "Shelter in Place" is in effect, I hope everyone has everything they need, food, sanitizers, and medicines. We know that sanitizers are hard to come by, I went to Target last night and found a liquid Mr Clean that kills 99% of bacteria cleaner. A spray bottle and a rag will do the job!

There are also no paper towels to be found so I bought Terry towels and labeled it for each members of my household to use.

Hi Tito Wil! It was confirmed that six counties in the bay area are ordered to shelter in place, effective Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 12:01 AM. These counties are ordered for shelter in place: - San Francisco County

- Santa Clara County

- San Mateo County

- Marin County

- Contra Costa County

- Alameda County

This order stays in place until at least April 7, and a third week could be extended.

It is important to note that the following WILL REMAIN OPEN:

- Health Care Operations

- Public Transportation

- Grocery Stores

- Pharmacies

- Veterinary Services

- Restaurants for Take-Out and Delivery only

- Gas Stations

- Auto Repair Shops

- Banks

- Home Supply Stores

- Hardware Stores

- Laundry Services

Daycare Centers will stay open but children are limited to groups of 12, and must stay with the same group of children everyday.

Police, Fire, and emergency responders will also stay available to the public.
